Bio: Born in Busan, Korea and adopted as a child, Jon grew up in Buffalo, NY absorbing a lot of Italian (Sicilian) culture/heritage from his adoptive family. He received the Theta Chapter's Rookie of the Year Award in spring of 2011 for his contributions as a new Brother, and is the president of the chapter for the 2011-2012 academic year. Besides fraternity life, he keeps busy as part of the RPI volunteer ambulance service as a NYS EMT-B and loves to play intramural ice hockey. His long-term goals include a MS in Technology Commercialization and Entrepreneurship and a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology and Cancer Therapeutics. Jon has previously interned at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY, and currently works part-time at The Paper Battery Company based out of the INVEST Program at Sage College in downtown Troy.
